Avengers Frames per second

Does anyone know at how many frames per second the Avengers was filmed at? Did it vary between the black and white and colour series? With a blu ray release becoming a possibility I just wondered whether it would be at the correct speed. Did we, or the Americans, see it at the correct speed on DVD?

Like many British film series made for television, it was actually filmed at 25 frames per second. We saw it at the correct speed in the UK.
