While it's great that The Avengers is being discussed at all, I'm not sure I like the idea of The Avengers as a West End musical. Bizarre :!:

I generally hate musicals (why do they have to sing - it would be quicker to just say it!:)), but The Avengers getting another lease of life is always intriguing.

The fact that David Arnold is involved - I've always wanted to hear his take on the Avengers theme.

Of course, it could go nowhere but it would be nice for the show if it did bear fruit.
the official green light won’t be given until complex legal rights issues have been untangled
Ah...Canal. Well there's the end of that then.

It could be interesting.

It's a pity they didn't think of it a few years ago, they've lost the chance now to call it Kinky Boots.

Sounds interesting - David Arnold is one of the finest film and television composers they could have chosen.
His continuation of John Barry's James Bond big sound and work with Dame Shirley Bassey was superb.
I love his soundtrack music to Casino Royale, Tomorrow Never Dies and Sherlock.

If this musical ever sees the light of day I've been wondering what the song titles might be. How about From Venus with love. Or The Joker (by the Steve Miller band)
