It is good to see David return as a reorganization of the site.
But must admit, the former design of the website was much better, from my view. Another unpleasant thing is that David removed the filmographies of the actors for an incomprehensible reason and made links to the IMDB. Thus, the user now refers to the website where there are more errors than on those pages that were on David's site before.
Sadly that we can not affect the full correction of the pages with the performers on IMDb.
For example, Patrick Macnee's page:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001495/?ref_=nv_sr_1
I already many times changed the following points there which are in time back in the database again and again:
Thunder in Paradise 3 (Video)...Edward Whitaker
Thunder in Paradise II (Video)...Edward Whitaker
Actually, Patrick did not played there and it should be correctly as next
Thunder in Paradise 3 (Video) (credit only) (archive footage)...Edward Whitaker
Thunder in Paradise II (Video) (credit only) (archive footage)...Edward Whitaker
Further, worse
Macbeth/II (TV Movie)
Malcolm
1949 Macbeth (TV Movie)
Malcolm
It's absolutely the same movie. The staff of movie base corrected this at my request, but then someone brought it back.
Same things for
Hamlet Part 2/II (TV Movie)
Laertes
1947 Hamlet Part 2 (TV Movie)
Laertes
1947 Hamlet Part 1/II (TV Movie)
Laertes
1947 Hamlet Part 1 (TV Movie)
Laertes
It should be as
Hamlet (TV Movie)
-Part 1
-Part 2
Etc...

True, but I like a site that 'fits' your device, whatever it is.

This month, David made some updates on his website - most likely the latest, according to the note in the menu section:
NOTE: This site is no longer being updated. It will remain intact as an information resource.
http://www.theavengers.tv/forever/guide.htm
Sadly, one of other notable last updates of The Avengers Forever is deletion of the news section.

That note about no longer being updated has been there for a while.

Entering the Stasis Chamber. (1 October 2008) Although TAF is not coming down, it is getting locked up, in a manner of speaking. After a dozen years online, and virtually continuous updates, TAF is receiving its last regular update this month. From here on out, the only time this page will change is if something truly extraordinary happens. Sorry, this means no new visitor reviews or other contributions.
9 years later, in what was the last update to the site he wrote:
Wow, has it really been nearly a DECADE? (9 May 2017) What in the world has happened? What's brought me back? I'm sure inquiring AvengerMinds want to know!
First of all, this is not a "return" in the sense that I'm back to regular updates. But, on the bright(er) side, hopefully I'll be updating TAF a little more frequently than every eight or nine years.
And while I'm a tad late, it's still close enough for me to toot my horn a wee bit: [20 year graphic]
Yes, TAF has been around for (over) 20 years!
Meanwhile, I've just completed a site-wide refresh to clean stuff up and fix embarrassingly outdated information. I've offered a few details and insights on the whys and wherefores in a new IMHO. Enjoy poking around and seeing what I've done.
Happy Avengering to all,
David
