Well what you're saying makes perfect sense except she did get up straight away because in the bottom photo - taken from the episode - she is shown in a completely different prone position not to mention a different "pose".
Thinking perhaps the scene was reworked on the fly?

Rehearsal would have been way before actual shooting. Stills are generally taken during the part dress or full dress rehearsal. After that you'd have final run through and filming later. In the VT days that would be hours later, but in the filming era it might be days.

One more minor "discovery".

In the rehearsal shot I posted earlier I just noticed that Z.Z. von Schnerk is standing off to the side making himself available for direction & perhaps listening in on instructions given by director James Hill to Peter Wyngarde

I have highlighted Z.Z. in the photo

I had not noticed him standing there before
