Royal Post is extraordinarily expensive for casual users such as ebay sellers.

I tend to buy books from Book Depository instead of Amazon - same company, slightly higher ticket prices but free worldwide shipping. It's often worth comparing and including shipping to get the best deal. (Amazon.co.uk had free shipping to Australia for a couple of years to get us all converted into committed customers but as soon as they stopped that, it became uneconomical).

Oddly, I just bought some shirts from Charles Tyrwhitt and the shipping was only $13 for a massive box sent from the UK.

Another Code 3 car from Dead Man’s Treasure has gone up on ebay, a Sunbeam Alpine. The previous ones from the last couple of weeks have brought bids between £60.00 and £72.00 each.

In the latest batch to appear there’s Tara’s red Lotus Europa, not to mention various vehicles from the sixties TV series Route 66 and the early seventies series, It Takes a Thief, which personally I could never get into.

Then there’s the Goldfinger diorama with damaged Aston Martin, plus Marty’s red Mini from the original Randall and Hopkirk, though as I remember it was Jeannie Hopkirk who usually drove it, although occasionally Jeff Randall also drove it.

Further to this there are a couple of vehicles associated with French films starring John Paul Belmondo, who as far as I can tell did most of his own driving stunts in the car chases in these films. I’m not really familiar with his work, except when he arrived at the conclusion of Charles K Feldman’s Casino Royale and has to consult his phrase book to talk to David Niven, “The French have arrived.”

Also there's Bodie's white Triumph Dolomite Sprint from the first season of The Professionals.

From the earlier batch of die casts, The Saint Volvo has now reached a bid of £128.00!

I completely agree with your statement there regarding the Dead Man’s Treasure cars, which have a tenuous link to The Avengers. However, these items keep selling and I assume it is Avengers enthusiasts who buy them. Besides a Range Rover from The Persuaders!, The Avengers is the only TV series that he does this for, as all the other vehicles associated with a series are those driven regularly by the main characters.

The Avengers and The New Avengers appear to be his best selling items. The James Bond vehicles he did sold well, but there already are quite a lot of standard Corgi Bond die casts around and as such the Code 3 (altered to Bond from standard models) market seems restricted. As mentioned in a previous posting The Saint Volvo sold for a three figure sum and one of the Columbo Peugeot’s went for a staggering bid of £215.00!

Emma’s silver Lotus Elan still at the reserve price of £39.99.
