I hope this means we're close to a Blu Ray release of the 67 series, at least. I know The Prisoner will be out on Oct. 27th.

sure hope the studio canal, or whoever is handling the source material, does a better job in tweaking the original source...

I think you must have a poor copy. My Canal + Season 6 box set has episodes which look great. If the new UK ones are going to look even better then fantastic.

Going on from me saying the recent German 1967 Mit Schirm, Charme und Melone DVD release was a favourite of mine, what are your favourite DVD covers of The Avengers/New Avengers? And which are your least favourite?

Anyone know where I could pick up these last three sets at a good price, there all pretty pricey second hand through amazon.

Like many British film series made for television, it was actually filmed at 25 frames per second. We saw it at the correct speed in the UK.

I'm making my first BIG purhase soon and getting The Emma Peel years on DVD. She's my fave. But I'm rediscovering the other ladies too. :)

I spoke to the interviewer who had been hired for the project last week, and he confirmed to me that the production company had very sadly gone into receivership. As such, I think this is unlikely ever to appear....

Right now, for the first and last Tara King sets, Amazon is saying that they no longer have any new ones in stock, and that: This item has been discontinued by the manufacturer .
