Time for me to re-watch an episode, or two, of Danger Man I think. I remember Honor Blackman was so good as a blind lady in one.

I think you're combining Colonel Rodriguez with Josetta, starring Julia Arnall as the blind woman, both deal with corruption in unnamed Central or South American countries.
Mrs Peel, you're needed!

Yes, the one was pretty much a blatant remake of the other.

Of interest perhaps - there was apparently an Avengers burlesque night for an event 9 years ago called Mrs. Peel's in London, tying the Avengers to the Swinging Sixties:

The Swinging Sixties Penthouse Party of your dreams

Let 1960s icon Emma Peel guide you into the hedonism of Swinging London, when Britain led the world in fashion, art, music and fun, when the rich and stylish jetted to beach resorts, drove sportscars over Swiss mountains and sailed yachts into St Tropez.

No one sums up the verve of the era more than Mrs Emma Peel, the catsuited, karate-chopping amateur agent played by Diana Rigg in TV series 'The Avengers', foiling plots by eccentric villains in country houses, on giant chess boards and in secret laboratories, while trading flirtatious quips with her partner, the bowler-hatted gentleman spy John Steed.

Acts this week
Count Indigo & his lounge trio Court of St James
AGENT LYNCH Burlesque Legend
Catsuit-A-G0-G0 choreographed dance troupe
Dj Thomas Dynamic
All from our 4th floor penthouse pad
with terraces offering views out over the city.
This is the video used to promote the event:

If every night out was a 1960s night out, I'd go out at night! I was born too late.
