Purdey : Brown rollneck with matching cardigan
She wears a brown long-sleeved woolen rollneck with a matching cable stitch cardigan and dark brown trousers.
Purdey : Burberry overcoat and black dress
She wears a Burberry overcoat over a black dress. She wears a Burberry scarf and carries a Burberry umbrella, completing the outfit with brown ankle boots.
Purdey : Black jumpsuit
She wears a black jumpsuit with hot pink lining and lapels, shortsleeved, accessorised with a multi-coloured checkerboard headscarf.
Purdey : Blue and white long-sleeved t-shirt and jeans
She wears a blue & white hooped long-sleeved shirt, untucked with yellow belt over it. Underneath she wears pale jeans (or light blue trousers?) with tan boots.
Purdey : Cream nightdress
She wears a cream nightdress.
Purdey : Cream blouse and gold skirt
She wears a cream blouse with cream cravat, pearls, gold and white multilayer skirt with tasseled hems.
Series 2 (1977–8)
Steed : Beige overcoat
He wears a thick lambswool-lined beige overcoat to protect himself against the harsh Berlin winter. A brown and grey checked flat cap warms his head and beneath the coat we glimpse his favourite blue shirt and brown patterned tie worn with his favourite navy suit.
Steed : Cricket gear
He wears white cricket flannels and shirt with a cream wool cable-stitch jumper with stripes on the neck and hem.
Purdey : Red and blue dress
She wears a red, yellow and blue striped dress with cross patterns, a crew neck and pleated skirt. This may be a t-shirt and skirt.
Gambit : Cricket gear
Gambit is no cricketer and appears to have hurriedly grabbed whatever he could - white flannel trousers and cream jumper, certainly, but he’s wearing a beige shirt and brown tie with a grey flat cap.
Purdey : White dress
She wears a white dress with multi-coloured screen print; it has a gathered neck and waist with flared sleeves and reaches to the floor, the skirt almost becoming a train.
Steed : Black velvet tuxedo
He wears one of his velvet tuxedoes, this one in a thankful black instead of his usually preferred bottle green.
