as the olde saying goes...'the apple didn't fall too far from the tree'..

some amazing picts of her home life...she had a amazing career...especially in Theatre....of course, it took her many years to feel comfortable with her tenure on the series..great pics!

Must have been very novel for her parents... seeing her on TV every saturday night
in living colour !
Sadly, her father died in 1968 I think, so never got to see her in colour on telly.

true...it took a while to get ramped up for color broadcast....but even still, how interesting for them to see their daughter every week in b/w...
