what a treat, seeing all of these Avenger related TV guide issues...plus all the examples of reviews...as when it make it's debut on U.S. Television, there wasn't anything like it, per say...especially with a English flavor / bent

the covers are delightful..and I certainly do remember many of them....how the years have rolled by...

I have fond memories of getting the Fall Preview TV guide every year as a kid. Looking at the new
shows and the list of movies coming on. Plenty of programs with only three major networks. Newspapers
had giant movie posters of new movies on the Thursday paper for Friday openings. A different world.

bingo! same here...and yeah, only 3 networks..ABC / CBS /NBC. and a 4th, if you wanna consider PBS.......and the prevue of new series in print, was awesome..and of course, as the current season progressed, talk centered on what series were being renewed, or getting cancelled....and TV guide (s). both NATIONAL, and the local TV guides played a huge part in the above....yeah, whole different universe, back then...I miss it..

I have a nice copy of TV World in my collection. Happy to share a scan of the full interview with Diana.

Brilliant, thank you.
Nice to hear her view on Paul Schofield!
Of course she signs cheques as Diana Rigg... who else would it be? (Enid?) I don't think the shops would want a cheque from Emma Peel!
