it's about that time to fire up the too many xmas trees episode.....and I'm wondering about this year's xmas banner...for the forum...can't wait !

I have been an Emma Peel/John Steed fan from way back in the mid 1960s when ABC Television from New York ran the Emma Peel series prime-time on network television. I clearly remember running up close to the (round) tube of my parent's color TV set...

It's not finished yet, but I've been having a go at modelling a sort of Diana Rigg/Rachael Stirling lookalike for the computer game Elite: Dangerous.

Do you think I could write an Avengers story - in all but name - and try and publish it - maybe for free on Amazon?

I'm thinking of changing the name 'John Steed' to 'Don Reed', for instance.

Not only are they doing that, but they’re also cropping the images to delete my signature.

Reposting without credit is dickish enough, but cropping the signature is beyond...

I though it would be interesting to build a replica of Benstead's treasure chest from 'Dead Man's Treasure' as I don't get to work with wood very often. I was also interested to see if I could make pine look like cast iron, I actually started and...

I've just finished recreating Steed's Christmas card as it's seen on screen.
The original card was obviously hand drawn and painted, however I did it using a mixture of freehand drawing combined with Inkscape. Thing is, the original prop obviously...

Looks like there's just the one colour photo of this prop, so not much to go on, but it looks like it's a large clear acrylic disc (you can clearly see the tree branches through it), dark gold and pale gold glitter and a fine pearl/silver reflective...

Had a go at making the rough cardboard and tape base this afternoon. I'll add the neck and tinker with it some more to get it better tomorrow (the lower jaw needs pulling inwards), then I'll fibre glass over it and dunk it in a buck of water as...
