I could see the Flint films with James Coburn taking place in the same universe as the Avengers.

The 1960s Avengers was allowed time to evolve its style and its production techniques, and I don't think a modern series would be allowed to find its feet in the same way. Shows pretty much have to be an instant big money-spinner now or are...

The copy I made was shown on New Zealand free to air TV - I never made a copy before sending it over for the Treasure Hunt - I recall this did feature some snow plough footage - and enough pointless padding for me to send my only copy away.
