Does A&E still own the rights to the Avengers in the US? Rereleasing decades old dvd masters is ridiculous. They obviously hold the rights to the old masters. Who holds the rights to the restored episodes or are they up for grabs from somebody like...

Just watched Golden Fleece on my box set. Great episode! Wasn't this episode thought to be damaged a few years ago? It was the only Cathy episode thought to be unobtainable. Does anyone know how it finally saw the light of day :?:

I noticed this when i was putting together the show reels for the event in Chichester last year. Some of the series 5 end titles now show the end of the cyclorama curtain and the studio back wall behind Emma and Steed.

The German DVDs haven't got an English subtitle.
A friend showed me The Forget-Me-Knot as a clip and didn't mentioned, that it is in French (I guess to tease me).

It's worth pointing out that Optimum appear to have been completely consumed by Studio Canal now, so it's possible the old email addy is dead or at least no longer reliable (if it ever was).

The Series 6 set will be 9 discs, not 8. The Forget-Me-Knot is included with Series 6, not 5 - which is exactly as it should be. First time it's been released on DVD with the correct season! First time in the UK. ;)

Except for differences in extra features are the episodes themselves the same remastered quality for the Cathy Gale episodes on all three versions? In Germany, the Gale episodes will be shown on TV from 6th December for the very first time. Thus,...
