Yes, I enjoy what remains of season 1 too. Whenever new announcements are made about the recovery of lost TV programmes, I always skim through the list in the vague hope that an episode of The Avengers will be in there!

I bought the original about 30 years ago at a memorabilia fair for £5. I think most people would prefer to have originals and this does turn up on ebay now and again. The 1967 annual was the best of the three annuals. It's a shame the annuals didn't...

This has proved to be a very engaging read. I particularly like Michael's commentary on each episode which gives the book its own voice and provides welcome variety alongside the facts, figures and summaries.

Highly recommended.

yeah, I would agree...Ebay, is probably the best route to locate just about anything....occasionally Abe Books..or Book Beat, out of Oak Park, Michigan, comes across rare stuff...heck, on Ebay, as well as Abe books, I found copies of my long running...

I worked at FEDEX for 25 years...oh yeah, big brown....arghhhhhhhwooooo...lol....god, we often PRAYED..that they would NOT go on strike...the volume from them, would play havoc with our sort system...

There have been some lovely Blakes 7 annuals recently (and now a magazine) which carry on where the 1980s ones left off. I wouldn't mind seeing Avengers versions, made with the same joy and meticulous care.

Ah! No! These codes! The designation isn't entirely a date code. They're project codes within a year and they all relate to 'E' for Elstree Studios (i.e. ABPC). The next two digits - '64' or '66' - is the year in which the project/series starts...

They don't have a lot for the Avengers, but if you can make quality prints yourself, Dr. Macro has exactly one (lovely) photo of Diana:
