Hard to go past Trap. I'd nominate The Grandeur that was Rome and Immortal Clay as contenders, with Trojan Horse as an outsider. For Steed fans, Trap was terrific! He's injured, only in a shirt, active with Purdey, mussed hair. Just wonderful to watch. The idiocy of the rest of the plot is pretty b...

I actually think that "Return of the Cybernauts" is VERY dark. Beresford enters Emma's (and a jealous Steed's) life as a friend. At the end, what were Beresford's plans for a controlled Emma--look at him undoing her coat as he sends her out to get Steed. What else might he undo regarding h...

Okay, I just was able to watch this episode, having ordered it from the UK, andt then having it turned into an American DVD. For me, David Keel is very boring. He has one attitude, one personality, and that's it throughout the whole show. I never thought he was a very good actor, and although it may...

Mrs Peel is based on a composite of imag...

The second of two New Avengers stories I watched in the last week. I gave this a 5. I seem to be in a minority in not thinking this is a great episode. During the later years of The Avengers (Tara's year and TNA) there seemed to be more introspective episodes. What I mean by that, is that the main ...
