Thanks Bob. In Stare Back and Smile, Joanna Lumley's 1989 memoirs, she says that each ep was scheduled for 2½ weeks but that they rarely made them in that time.

So indeed, maybe 16 or so days spent on each ep.

Hi Mike :-) Oh I know all about Bowler Hats & Kinky Boots and don't think I'm not grateful for the full filming schedules in there, it's an incredible piece of work! However, I would also love them to turn up for TNA, I love the series and it's a bit of a Holy Grail for me (for a good few of us ...

Whilst I thought the dvd picture quality was pretty good it's quite stunning how much more detail is visible on the bluray. Every blemish on every face! And quite how much makeup Diana Rigg is wearing 😈 That's something I notice with old TV shows on Blu-ray a lot - Twilight Zone, Star Trek TOS for ...

Yes, I read this about six months back. It must be the Rigg colour ones he means as that's when he was working on the show. Surely he's above board. He sounds a very straightforward fellow with no reason to tell porkies, i.e. he doesn't come across as a 'credit stealer' - and it's not the kind of th...

Very sad news. I hope he went quickly & painlessly and like everyone else I wish his family comfort at this terrible time. He gave so much - both the work itself and his opinions and memories to anyone who cared to ask. A very talented and generous man, not to mention a giant of the entertainmen...
