Black single-breasted suit

He wears a black single-breasted three-piece suit. The jacket has long notch lapels with a buttonhole and is fastened with only two buttons. The hip pockets are flaps, the breast pocket is jetted and there is a single short vent in the skirt. The waistcoat is high-cut with no lapels and is fastened with six covered buttons. The cuffs of the jacket might be folded back, they have a single button.
Despite not being seen until episode 12, this suit is worn in 9 episodes so is a staple for the latter half of the series.

Worn with:

  • November Five : paisley grey tie, white shirt, black bowler hat and umbrella; later with a pale knitted tie, and briefly with a Guy Fawkes mask
  • Second Sight : pale knitted tie, white shirt
  • The Secrets Broker : grey paisley tie, white shirt, black bowler hat and umbrella; later with a pale knitted tie
  • The Medicine Men : wide-striped shirt, pale knitted tie
  • The Wringer : white shirt, pale knit tie - much of the episode has him in shirtsleeves and no tie
  • The Little Wonders : mid tone tie, white shirt with dark vertical pin stripes, later with black bowler hat and umbrella
  • The Outside-In Man : checked shirt, pale knitted tie, black bowler hat and umbrella; later with pale plain shirt and dark paisley tie
  • The Charmers : checked shirt, pale knitted tie, black bowler hat and umbrella
  • Lobster Quadrille : white shirt (maybe pinstriped), pale knitted tie, black bowler hat and umbrella

Fur and leather overcoat

She wears a leather knee-length overcoat lined with fur.

Collarless suit

She wears a grey suit. It has a collarless jacket fastened by four concealed buttons and sometimes has a loose cloth belt tie with a simple twist. The skirt is straight and knee-length. She normally wears it with a grey silk long-sleeved blouse with black and white polka dots. It has a high neck and no buttons. She sometimes chooses a short white neckscarf instead.
