Steed tells Cathy there have been twelve big robberies in recent weeks, amounting to £750,000 and a few Modiglianis, which look like they've been done by foreign criminals. The Interpol report showing a 200% increase in crimes of gain over the last two years.
Steed calls Immigration Control at the airport, and asks for extension 204.

Felder and Moss are doing the accounts and Felder tells Moss that the cost of repairing damage to one of the Modiglianis will be recouped from the personnel who damaged it. Moss hands him £22,000 worth of Deutschemarks from a job in Dusseldorf, which Felder decides to send to Helsinki to be changed into dollars.

12:30 - somebody drops something off camera while Steed is talking to Palmer. Palmer recounts his itinerary:
Meet Hilda Stern 11am, London Airport, take her to F, arrive 12:51

The original screenplay has a Romanian called Lupescu instead of the German Kressler.

Lobb's account of Kressler's movements:
He followed the getaway car which Kressler was driving. He dropped off his two colleagues then abandoned the car in Regent's Park, taking a taxi to his hotel in Baker Street. He confirms to Moss that he had the suitcase when he got in the cab. He was scheduled to collect Kressler and the money the next morning, and Kressler was supposed to wait for him. As he drove up, he saw Kressler come out and hail a cab, which Lobb followed to a travel agency. He waited outside and ten minutes later, after Kressler departed in another cab, he went in and discovered Kressler had bought a ticket to Rio de Janeiro. [Kressler swears this isn't true]
Cathy questions Lobb about the evidence of the ticket, and says the travel agent's notepad had Rio scribbled on it, but he can't prove it had anything to do with Kressler, or that a ticket was bought. Cathy asks Moss whether they actually found the ticket when they searched Kressler's hotel room and he admits they didn't.
Kressler says that Berkholt took the money from the safe. They were using a shaded torch and collecting the money quickly, not counting the bundles. Cathy claims there's a possibility a bundle was dropped on the floor.
Lobb re-enters the fray and forces Kressler to admit that his brother lives in Rio de Janeiro, but he protests it has nothing to do with it.
Cathy complains about the convenient absence of all the witnesses and claims the case against him is based entirely on hearsay and circumstantial evidence, and they should find him not guilty.

When Hilda turns up, Cathy tries to prove her identity by saying she left Berlin on Tuesday, receiving order from Harz - and give Harz's address as 18 Hindenburgstr.
Hilda counters by supplying Harz's phone number: 130381.

41:36 - the door doesn't latch properly behind Hilda when she enters to see Manning, and we see a crew member wheel a camera across the back of the stage.
