What's New?

28 May 2004
The Secrets Broker, The Gilded Cage and The Medicine Men completed, but it'll be a while before the next update as we're a bit busy - our first child, Tara Charlotte, was born on Tuesday morning, 25 May.
17 May 2004
Halfway home. November Five and Second Sight completed, plus we've added trivia - including extra screen grabs - for The Golden Fleece, Man with Two Shadows, Don't Look Behind You, The Undertakers, and Build a Better Mousetrap. I've omitted mentioning a couple of cars in The Golden Fleece (a Landrover and a Ford, from memory) - I'll add them soon.
The Cathy Gale episodes page has had the new thumbnails added, as well as the production order to make it easier to use. The individual episode pages have had the image window code from rest of the site added to them.
12 May 2004
Build a Better Mousetrap completed, and the other shows icons changed in the style sheets so Safari users see them now.
11 May 2004

A local paper claims that Aussie Princess-to-be Mary Donaldson resembles Diana Rigg, we remain undecided...

More continuity errors for The Fear Merchants and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Station from Jenna Clayton, and British trains in The Town of No Return (including a blooper) and A Funny Thing ... explained by Nigel Wassell.

7 May 2004
Death of a Batman completed.
4 May 2004
The feature images on the Cathy Gale episodes page are now titles "Feature episode" and link to the episode from which they are drawn, rather than showing the enlarged image. Fixed a raft of mistakes from yesterday's movements as well.
3 May 2004

The Cathy Gale episodes are now complete up to episode 9, after that they are in progress. the front page now randomly shows four feature images from the completed episode pages.

Something I've been meaning to do for a while... all the Emma Peel episodes have been given their own folders in the site hierarchy, so any bookmarks you have will need to be changed:

27 April 2004
The Diana Rigg page has been re-reworked with a different background image.
The Tara episodes are completely re-styled (well, they look more or less the same, except the garish pink has been softened a tad), and have had the code from the Cathy Gale cast pages inserted into them; the Cathy Gales pages continue in development...
What Cathy Gale ones!? Ahh... we're getting there.
16 March 2004
The Tara episodes get the tool tip treatment, as do the Cathy Gales ones.
What Cathy Gale ones? Ahh... wait and see!
15 March 2004
Following the success of the ready-reckoner, I've amended the episode navigation bars, so when you point the cursor at one of the numbered pages, a tool tip will appear showing the episode title.
5 March 2004
The Diana Rigg page has been reworked to give it a more mod feel, and the ready-reckoner, well:
Season 2 & 3 now in TX order, and the Emma & Tara episodes now linked to my pages, rather than David K Smith's.
4 March 2004
"Easy to use, but hard to print"... a good description of my new Avengers Ready-reckoner. See at a glance who was when and what was where. (Seasons 2 & 3 are a bit ropey, as they're in production order rather than my preferred TX order - put it down to laziness).
If you do want to print it, try this verison (Lanscape page layout, shrink to 50% should do it).
Inspired by my much more complex Dr Who Ready-reckoner (completely unprintable!)
2 March 2004
Thanks to Cal Westray for getting in touch with Laurie Johnson and providing new information about the song "Mein Liebling, Mein Rose" from The Joker.
We've also added a window resize on the pop-up images in the Tara King episodes to bring it into line with the rest of the site.
24 February 2004
Daniel Garrett recently interviewed Linda Thorson for BBCi, you can listen to streaming real audio and see a couple of photos of Linda at BBCi Wiltshire
UK readers also have a chance to win on of two signed Tara King photos!
18 February 2004
Fixed a few silly mistakes and changed the Avengers comic translation links to Mike Noon's "The Avengers Illustrated".
17 February 2004
Well, I'm absolutely positive that Doctor Who companion Midshipman Ben Jackson (Michael Craze) was the handcuffed man killed at the beginning of Take-over (I had previously though it was stunt regular Peter Clay, but after seeing The War Machines recently I had to reconsider).
10 February 2004
At a loose end... so I translated the Argentinian Avengers satire comic "Patadas Asesinas" from Mike Noon's "The Avengers Illustrated", while they're winging their way over to him, you can see them here (careful! they weigh in between 200kb & 300kb each):
The Avengers Illustrated
4 February 2004
Seeing as Gareth Hunt's birthday is the day after Patrick's I've modified the 'happy birthday' script to display a message for all the show's stars who are still with us.
2 February 2004
I'm a bad webmaster... all the somewhat shonky looking cast pages for all the episodes (including Tara) have been cleaned up - sorry about that, I forgot to check how the inclusion of all the new cross-over icons would affect them. However, something good has come out of the whole débacle - it's Terry Richards, not Rocky Taylor in Game and John Scott in The Rotters is John Murray Scott, who appeared in the Cathy Gale episode "November Five", so the Regular Guests have been updated too.
23 January 2004
All the cross-over lists have been updated to indicate starring rôlesstarring role and recurring rôlesstarring role. The Callan{callan}icon has changed, again...
21 January 2004
Alright then, all the regular guests have been updated, coreected and iconised, along with oversights in the other cross-over lists (notably, The New Avengers and The Champions).
14 January 2004
Well, after a truly monumental effort, all the new cross-over cast lists, and all the old ones, have been updated, and all the icons to those pages recoded using CSS (in some places halving the size of a file). Be careful of the Doctor Who and the Saint lists, they're BIG.
I'll get the regular guests fixed up in the next day or two.
Anything else? Oh, yes, I've been mixing up the mugshots for Peter Thomas and Terry Maidment all these years in Death's Door, you'll see that fixed now. The christmas decorations have also come down, a week late.
6 January 2004
Picky, aren't we? Icons for Adam Adamant Lives, Carry On, The Champions and The Pink Panther have all been changed, and we've removed the page resize code from the Tara King episodes (as well as adding a direct link between The Forget-Me-Knot and Game).
5 January 2004
Happy New Year!
We weren't idle over the holidays, you'll find cross-over icons for cast and crew alike for the following productions:
The Champions, Space: 1999, UFO, the Pink Panther films, Callan, The Sweeney, Star Wars, the Carry On films, Adam Adamant Lives!, Police Surgeon, Department S and Jason King.
(Phew!)
The information for the shows haven't been completed yet, but you can now see at a glance who's been in what.

We've also altered the style sheet, added the site navigation bar to the Tara King episodes and updated the seasonal snow.
