Re: Avengers Audio 22 mins
good question....not sure if anyone-or-group wrote song (s) about Emma Peel...if they did, it escaped my radar...I do recall Honor singing a naughty little ditty with Patrick....' kinky boots'...but most of us, have heard of it, or at least have listened to it...I think I might a 45 copy of it, in my archives...

Re: Avengers Audio 22 mins
Talking of themes then...
Yes I have Kinky Boots on a CD (not 45).
But I also found a CD I had from 1998 that has The Avengers (Johnson) and The Shake (which inspired the former, also by Johnson).
What more do we know about 'The Shake' on here?

“agreeable, well-rounded, and a little on the flinty side”; some say “venerable, devious, and a little ambivalent”

Is The Shake different to the theme then? I thought it was just an alternative name for it.
On the Contender/Kult TV DVDs they call Johnson's theme "The Age of Elegance" which is the wrong title, it being in fact the title of a precursor to/early version of Ron Grainer's The Prisoner theme - I presume what The Shake is to the Avengers' filmed seasons' theme.

Re: Avengers Audio 22 mins
Yes replayed it.... sounds very similar but a few sections differ. Was published in 1965 the same year as The Avengers Theme.
It's the BW season 4 Avengers theme on this CD.
