According to a French site, Brian Clemens once claimed that a copy of the completed Shepherd film exists but without sound. Apparently he was surprised that it had not been used as a DVD bonus. Can anyone shed any light on this? Jaz, for example?

Jacqueline Pearce RIP (1943-2018)

I grew up on Servalan in Blake's 7 where she was spellbinding. I loved her performances in Man in a Suitcase. She was one of the best things in A Sense of History. Great actor and a thoughtful, fun and quirky human being who cared passionately about the natural world.

There is no doubt that the music - both theme tune and incidental - was a huge part of the success of the artistic project. Had Dankworth taken up the option of creating the film era music, it would not have worked nearly as well. Serendipity once again.
